General information about 1st miles driving school Portsmouth. The school was establish in 1999 in the waterlooville area . And is now celebrating its 10th year. Our aim is to help you get that  full driving licence with the minimum of fuss. Our instructors are normal people and will treat you as a person not a number.

I passed my driving test in Hartlepool in 1980 that I am sorry to say was my 3rd attempt. I have got better.

In 1978 I left school and joined the Royal Navy left that in 1983 then I became a taxi driver in the Portsmouth area.

I  qualified as a driving instructor in 1999 and have been doing that since then

My pass rate to be honest I do not work them out as everybody is different but if you rally want a number then  for new drivers it is ABOUT 70% at the moment. The national  pass rate is about 43% at most centres but everybody is different and I will not put you down as a number I want to help you get you're new driving licence.

I currently use a ford KA that has dual controls.
